Gorgeous couple Courtney and Daniel brought their own brand of coastal chic to their wedding day. In hallmark style, Courtney broke out of the typical mould of the rights and wrongs of bridesmaid wear, with her entourage dressed in garments of varied colour and design to highlight each girl’s personal style and to create a delicious array of graded shades. Arriving by private yacht, the bride wore a beautifully crafted wedding gown from Sydney’s Pallas Couture, set off with a stunning pearl-encrusted veil, pearl droplet earrings, an elegant posey of a dozen long-stemmed roses and blush coloured patent leather heels. Adding a touch of the earthiness to Courtney’s wedding outfit was a jean jacket embellished by her girlfriend with the words Mrs Kelly.

While not featuring during the ceremony, the jacket did make an appearance as the night air closed in. Courtney and Daniel’s coastal wedding theme paid tribute to the magnificent natural surroundings of their home in Yamba, a much sort after holiday destination on the north coast of New South Wales. The Pacific Ocean and bushland backdrops chosen for the wedding photographs were nothing short of perfect. The natural tones of the sandstone cliffs and native bush accentuated the splashes of soft beige, taupe, blush and apricot worn by the bridesmaids in contrast with the men, who were all sharply dressed in their traditional black tux. Pelizzari Photography was recommended by a friend of the couple. After talking through their ideas as a Brisbane wedding photographer, we knew this was a job we would relish. Specialising in Brisbane wedding videography and wedding photography, we had all aspects covered. With our studio based in the bayside amid bushland, we could bring our own love of the sea and Australian bush to Courtney and Daniel’s wedding images and wedding videography.
